Xenophobia - South Africa President, Ramaphosa Send Envoy To Buhari To Apologised On Behalf Of All Nigerians

The President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, formally apologized to Nigeria following the attack on her citizens in South Africa, which have brought so much chaos since the last attack last week.

Ramaphosa sent his special envoy, Jeff Radebe, who met President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja, on Monday to table the apology. He said the president world have been in Nigeria in person but because of unforeseen circumstances, he couldn't make it.

Reports suggest that the apology wasn't only conveyed to Nigeria and Nigerians, the South African president, on Sunday, also despatched envoys to visit 6 other countries, to convey his regret concerning the widely condemned attacks xenophobic attacks.

This followed the humiliation he suffered at the hands of Zimbabweans during Mugabe’s funeral on Saturday, where he was publicly booed over the recent attacks. I sincerely hope he has learnt his lessons.
