Why Do Christians Allow Divorced Couple To Marry Since Bible Says Is Adultery

Hi ladies and gents, hope you are having a great Sunday so far and hope everyone is in church. Today, I bring you another mind buggling question and also what I think about it. But you have the liberty to contribute to the question via the comment box below.

Now the question....If Jesus says divorced people (both female and male) who marry are adulterers, then why does the Christian church still allow them to marry?

There has been a lot of debate about this issue and most of the time, Christian churches do indeed allow divorced people to marry, despite what Jesus says. The question is, Are they right or wrong in doing so?

The scriptures where Jesus addresses this subject make Him appear to say that divorced people can’t remarry because they would then be adulterers.

For me, the reason why they appear to say so is because these scriptures are very badly translated from the original language. The fact is, Jesus agreed with the Mosaic law in regard to writing the wife a bill of divorcement, but then He went on to explain why the law said what it said.

I think the bible wanted human to live on the standards of God. In the end, divorced people can indeed remarry with no fear of committing adultery as long as there is written proof of the divorce.

Whats your take?

Good day! I could have sworn I've been to this site before but after looking at
a few of the articles I realized it's new to me.
Anyhow, I'm definitely delighted I discovered it and I'll be book-marking it and checking back
