The federal government has taken a proactive measure in preparation for the February 23 presidential and national assembly elections, by declaring Friday, February 22, 2019 as a public holiday, though bankers are expected to work on that day.
The Ministry of Interior in a statement, on Wednesday, said bankers and those offering essential services across the nation are excluded in observing the public holiday. In his words;
