Vice Presidential Debate - PDP Governors Commends Obi's Astute Performance

The Vice Presidential debate last night was nothing but awesome. Five Vice Presidential candidates attended and obviously, the candidate of All Progrecive Congress, APC, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and the candidate of People's Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi took the floor as they both go at each other.

Their has been a lot of reactions after the debate, Peter Obi was great according people as well as Prof. Osinbajo but the question is, will the principals attend this kind of debate come 2019? I don't know if Atiku will, but am sure President Buhari will never honor this kind of debates. I mean, what has the man got to say in front of elites?

Peter Obi tutored PYO with facts while what PYO did was to be defensive and as usual blaming everything on the predecessors. I give it to Prof., he is a great orrator and a very smart and elloquent speaker, i mean the man is a law professor and i wouldn't expect nothing less. Truth is, orratory can get you as much as it can.

Peter Obi on the other hand is wonderful. He is astute and even though not that articulated, but he is granded and have facts of his head. I mean, what do you expect from a great manager and economist like him. It might do you great good to check his profile out. Just like Obama said, you can't judge a man with the way he speaks rather judge him with the content of his character.

Fact checkers went to work Friday night to puncture some of the statistics quoted by Peter Obi, the vice-presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party at the live TV debate at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.

Obi was correct when he said oil exports still accounts for 80 per cent of Nigeria’s dollar revenue. However, oil contribution to GDP has dwindled to about 10 per cent, according to NBS.

Despite the statistical goofs, Obi was praised by many PDP sympathisers for his performance during the debate.
