#PDPPresidentialPrimary: Atiku Abubakar Wins PDP Presidential Primaries


The former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has won the ticket to represent the People's Democratic Party, PDP in the upcoming 2019 presidential election. Atiku Abubakar won the PDP presidential primary election held yesterday 6th October, 2018 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.


The former Vice President during Olusegun Obasanjo regime defeated 11 other contestants, including current Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and host of other political heavy weights. Come 2019, Atiku Abubakar will be contesting with the incumbeny President, Muhammadu Buhari of the APC who is seeking for second term in the office.


Will PDP and Atiku Abubakar be ablue to defeat Buhari? Our fingers are crossed. Bellow is the full list of the contestants and how they were voted.
