Nigeria Police Offer N1m To Anyone With Information on Masked Lady In Viral Video

The Nigerian Police have promised One Million Naira (N1m) to anyone with useful information of the masked lady in a viral video that came out recently in which the lady alleged that a policeman, Inspector Christopher Nabugwu, was living in opulence.

The woman in the video that went viral online had alleged that Nabugwu was worth over N2bn in cash and assets, adding that he owned a building on 27 Remi Fani-Kayode Street, GRA, Ikeja, worth N250m, and used exotic cars.

Addressing the situation in a statement which was released on Sunday, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, said;

“Investigation into the matter was painstakingly carried out. At the end of the probe, it was clear that the allegations were not only false and misleading, but a calculated attempt to malign the name of a hard-working police officer and embarrass the police authorities.”

Oti also added that the Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, hoped that Lagosians and Nigerians in general would be able to assist the police in their investigation which they hope will lead to the eventual arrest of the masked lady.
