Roman Catholic Rev. Father Curses Okorocha's Family - "You Will Die Mysteriously"

A Roman Catholic Priest based in Onitsha, Anambra State, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma (a.k.a. Ebube Muonso), has laid a curse on Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, and his entire family.

In a video that has gone viral, the priest said Rochas and his family will die mysteriously for allegedly attacking the Archbishop of Owerri Diocese, Most Rev. Anthony Obinna.

“In the name of party interest you have the fortitude to attack a bishop, a Catholic bishop,” said Rev Obimma. The reported attack on Archbishop Obinna at the altar by thugs believed to be loyal to the state government happened at a burial Church Service in Mgwoma Obube Community in Owerri North Local Government Area of the state.

The clergyman was allegedly attacked for criticising the state government policies.

The Imo Governor had in a statement refuted the claim, describing the claims as a blackmail from those opposing his endorsement of his son-in-lawmaker, Mr Uche Nwosu, as governorship candidate in the state.

“Now seeing Uche Nwosu as the guy to beat in the 2019 election, they now think that there is no other way to stop him than through unwarranted blackmail” "Those behind this latest blackmail said the incident happened at a burial Church Service in a Community at Ngor-Okpala LGA,” said Okorocha

“We do not intend to bug our audience with a lengthy story to show the reason behind this latest blackmail or onslaught until Archbishop Obinna himself talks on this claim,” the governor had said. But the Archbishop, speaking through the Director of Media and Communications of the Owerri Catholic Archdiocese, Rev Fr. George Nwachukwu, confirmed the incident and claimed that he was “insulted and assaulted by the APC members.”

“We have left it in the hands of God. The assault to the church and the archbishop was very painful, provocative and highly unwarranted; but we have resolved to press no charges but to leave it in the hands of God,” said Obimma.
