AFRIMA 2017: Singer Ycee Wins Best African Hip-hop Artist At Afrima 2017


Omo Alhaji crooner, Ycee fought off competition from some of the continent’s best, including South Africans, Emtee and Nasty C. and Morrocan French Montana to win the Hip Hop Artist of the Year.

Ycee emerged as the Best African Hip Hop Artist at the 2017 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA). The Nigerian rapper won the award for his single ‘Juice’ at the ceremony which held at the Eko Convention Center, Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos.

The singer signed to Tinny Entertainment enjoyed a great year. He released his debut project, “The First Wave” which produced the single ‘Juice’.
