Torrential Rainfall Causes Bridge To "Give Way" Collapse In Niger State - Photos


It is that time again in Nigeria where many states in the nation always witness one mayhem or the other because of heavy down pour. This time, Niger State, which is the state of Origin of one of the top politician and former military Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida was hit hard.

The bridge at Gidan Mai Village, along Mokwa-Makera highway, Niger State, collapses due to heavy rainfall and information reaching us purports that no vehicular movement from both sides causing  travelers to be stranded.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mokwa, released pictures of the bridge in the state via their official Facebook page. The collapse of the bridge will seriously hamper movement in an out of the community.
