Igbo Women Throw Their Wrappers For IPOB-Leader Nnamdu Kanu To Walk On

I am really dumbfounded that this Eastern people has really lost their minds. And for the so-called Nnamdi Kanu to be walking on this women's wrapper is another unfathomable idea of the century. I think he is seen like a god now in Igboland and this is because of the cruelness of our dear London-President, Muhammadu Buhari.

On Tuesday, June 20, some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra visited their leader Nnamdi Kanu at his hometown in Isiama Afara, Umuahia in Abia state. In photographs obtained by NAIJ.com, the members who included women were seen throwing their wrappers on the ground for Kanu to walk on.

Some women removed their wrappers and threw on the ground for Kanu. A member of Kanu's family who spoke on the incident said the women saw the visit as an opportunity to honour Kanu for his his efforts towards the freedom of Biafra.

Sonia said:

"The women came here and they insisted he must walk on their wrapper. They were still talking before you know it, they have thrown the wrappers on the floor."

The IPOB leader while received a mammoth crowd in his hometown said that all those who said Biafra will not come to pass will die. The IPOB in an earlier statement by its media and publicity secretary Powerful Emma had also said called on the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to desist from making comments against the group.

The group's statement follows Osinbajo's remark that all those agitating for the secession of any part of Nigeria and the Northern youth who issued an ultimatum to Igbos living in the North risk jail terms.

But the IPOB in its response threatened that Osinbajo will end up a failure if he continues his remarks against IPOB
