I Just Played Jesus In 1977 Movie "Jesus Of Nazareth" - Stop Worshiping Me - Says Robert Powell
Robert Powell - Jesus Of Nazareth
I understand the quest for someone to get closure on what he/she is worshiping but doing that, knowing you are doing the wrong thing and yet continue in that manner is simply put, religion. Most times, the Americans cannot understand why people believe the world was created in 7 days and how everything is so linked with spiritualism. This is funny because they are the one that introduced it to Africans and yet they don't believe in it.

Are they hiding something? In almost every church in Africa, using Nigeria as a case study, their is always a picture of Jesus Christ hanging inside the Church. Do people really think that that is the real Jesus? I cannot fathom that. Tell my dad that that is not Jesus Christ and see if he wont disown you on the spot. Robert Powell, a comedian and an American actor is actually what Billions of Christians are worshiping and also hangs his picture in their houses, schools, churches cars as Jesus Christ because he played the Jesus's character in 1977 moves "Jesus of Nazarath.

In Robert Powell's words:

I never cease to say and I repeat it to the world since 1977. I am not Jesus Christ, I am just an actor and British comedian. I am tired of seeing my photos displayed in the places of worship and other places for worship. I just make a film for a living. Burn my pictures and worship the only God in truth. I am an actor. Jesus is Lord, not me.

Another actor who played Jesus's character and his photos has been used by Christians in the Churches and home is Jim Caviezel in Mel Gibson's The Passion Of The Christ. His pictures are even more widely used than that of Robert Powell. This people are mere actors for God sake and God himself has ordered us not to worship or make any image after his likeness and yet Billions of Christians are adamant. Imagery is indeed powerful.

The power of imagery cannot be overemphasized. Imagery is so powerful that if it burns into your mind and subconscious, their is practically no way in this world that you can get it out of yourself. I listened to a preaching from one gentle man of God and he speaks the simply unadulterated truth. Have attached a clip of the preaching below.

Robert Powell is an English television and film actor, best known for the title role in "Jesus of Nazareth" and as the fictional secret agent Richard Hannay. He begs all of you bowing and worshiping him to please stop.
