Uncompleted 2-Storey Building Collapses In Ikeja, Lagos State - Photos

It is pathetic to note that people don't even like themselves. Even if Government parastatals don't want to do their job regarding monitoring and supervising of these building in our streets, why can't builders do what is right? These collapse of buildings are really getting way out of hand.

Just yesterday, an uncompleted two storey building in Makinde Street, Ikeja area collapsed. According to reports, the building has since been sealed off for rescue operation as a team of RRS officers are providing security against hoodlums who might want to use the situation as a cover to carry out criminal activities.

RRS operatives, officials of Lagos State Building Control Agency and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency also visited the ground to ensure the rescue of people who may have been trapped under the building and forestall any further escalation of the current situation.

More details as to the cause of collapse will be available later....
