Former Arsenal & ManUtd Striker Van Persie Suffers A Gruesome Eye Injury


Famous Arsenal and Man United striker Robin van Persie narrowly escaped a career-ending injury after a gruesome eye suffered during a match which left his eye  bleeding.

The former forward of Arsenal and Manchester United opened the scoring for Fenerbahce before horrible clash with an opposition player in the first half. The striker’s face was covered in blood and he was carried off the field before being taken away from the stadium in an ambulance.

Speaking about the 33-year-old’s injury, Fenerbahce’s doctor John Kunduracioglu noted:  “Van Persie received a blow to his eye, it was torn and bleeding. After investigating, we sent him to an ophthalmologist at the hospital for further checks. We learned that nothing serious has happened, so the situation is good”

Though some medical officers are saying he may never see again.
